Dwarka’s Luxury hotel, Vivanta New Delhi has recently installed electric charging stations for electric cars to reduce the carbon footprint significantly as electric vehicles have revolutionized the automobile industry.

Vivanta New DelhiVivanta New Delhi, Dwarka, one of the pioneers of sustainable practices in the hospitality industry, has set up an electronic vehicle (EV) charging station along with TATA Power EZ Charge to promote electric mobility and support sustainability.

Sumit Sharma, Director of Engineering, Vivanta New Delhi, Dwarka said, “We constantly endeavour to partner with organizations that are actively looking to reduce carbon footprint and create a beneficial impact on the environment.”

The station can charge up to 4 cars at a time. It consists of 3 Ac type II Chargers with a power rating of 7.4 kW each and 1 CCS II Dual Gun with a power rating of 50 kW for faster charging.

This initiative aims to give EV vehicle users a sense of ease, help them pre-plan their visits accordingly, accelerate EV adoption, and contribute significantly to the growing charging network.

In addition, the charging facility aims to reduce range anxiety among patrons and travellers, particularly those visiting for business and leisure purposes.
