With the release of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, an SUV that combines Toyota’s well-known hybrid technology, dynamic styling, and remarkable fuel efficiency, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) is continuing to make headway in the Indian car industry. Since its July 2022 launch, the Hyryder has rapidly established itself as a standard for environmentally friendly and adaptable transportation.

Three powertrain options are available for the Hyryder: CNG, Neo Drive, and Self-Charging Strong Hybrid Electric Vehicle (SHEV). Its main component is a 1.5-liter engine that produces 85 kW of power when combined with an e-drive transmission and the Toyota Hybrid System (THS). The SHEV version offers simplicity and a quiet, smooth drive by doing away with the requirement for external charging. The Neo Drive model, which offers an optional All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system for off-road and urban versatility, is an option for customers looking for robust characteristics.

With its “T CARE” umbrella, which includes extensive pre-sales and post-sales services including T ASSIST, T SAATH, T SMILE, and more, Toyota improves the ownership experience. TKM’s commitment to building enduring relationships and satisfying customers is shown in this comprehensive strategy.

The Hyryder’s success is consistent with TKM’s larger accomplishments, which include selling more than one million Innova HyCross units. The Urban Cruiser Hyryder, which is produced at TKM’s state-of-the-art facilities in Bidadi, Karnataka, demonstrates Toyota’s dedication to reinventing mobility in India.

Toyota’s reputation as a pioneer in environmentally friendly car solutions in India is further cemented by the Urban Cruiser Hyryder’s cutting-edge technology, eco-friendly operation, and customer-focused services.
