In India, SWITCH Mobility has made great progress toward sustainable urban logistics. A significant milestone was reached recently when the business delivered its highly anticipated SWITCH IeV3 electric car (EV) to customers.

The IeV3 cars’ keys were given by Mahesh Babu, CEO of SWITCH Mobility, indicating a move toward greener and more effective modes of transportation. This cutting-edge electric product is perfect for urban logistics applications since it promises great performance and efficiency.

The IeV3, unveiled in September 2023, is now rolling off the production line in Hosur, India. Customers can find the vehicle at 30 dealerships across the country. Leading the Sustainable Charge “We are proud to lead this movement towards a sustainable future,” said Mahesh Babu. “The SWITCH IeV3 exemplifies our commitment to providing commercially viable solutions for last-mile deliveries. It’s meticulously designed to meet customer needs, boasting advanced battery technology, impressive range, and a smart design.”

The IeV3’s competitive pricing makes electric mobility a strategic choice for businesses of all sizes. This shift not only benefits the environment but also offers significant cost savings. SWITCH Mobility is confident that the IeV3 will revolutionize electric commercial transportation and shape the industry’s future.

The IeV3 is a powerful and intelligent electric light commercial vehicle. Equipped with a 25.6 kWh battery and a 1250 kg payload capacity, it offers ample cargo space and a remarkable 140 km range. This ensures efficient, comfortable, and safe operations for drivers.

The vehicle boasts a 40 kW motor and 190 Nm of torque, delivering strong performance for navigating urban environments. Additionally, the SWITCH iON system, a proprietary connected technology solution, optimizes vehicle performance and efficiency. Real-time data and analytics allow businesses to monitor and manage their fleet operations for smarter decision-making and cost reduction.

The IeV3 follows the success of the SWITCH IeV4 and represents the latest addition to the IeV series. With the best total cost of ownership (TCO) in the market, the IeV3 is poised to establish a new benchmark in the electric commercial vehicle industry.
