Fast Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations have been successfully erected at the Guldhar and Duhai Namo Bharat Stations by the National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC), marking a significant advancement in the promotion of an environmentally friendly and sustainable transportation system.

Electric vehicles may be charged more quickly thanks to the 50 kW high-voltage charging devices that are installed in each fast charging station. In just 30 minutes, these charging stations can refuel four-wheelers to roughly 80% capacity.

Multiple electric car types can be charged at both stations thanks to their specially built charging ports. While the Duhai station can charge two vehicles at once, the Guldhar station can only charge one vehicle at a time. The Sahibabad Namo Bharat station also has e-vehicle charging capabilities in addition to the additional charging stations.

The “ElectreeFi” smartphone application, which is accessible on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, allows users of electric vehicles to enjoy these amenities. The application is the only way to make the entire EV charging process easier. In order to use this service, consumers need to sign up on the app, book an online charging time slot at the Namo Bharat station of their choice, and start charging their EV in a matter of minutes. Additionally, the application includes a secure digital payment option and offers real-time charging status monitoring.

Improved and effective charging capabilities will be made possible by these recently installed charging stations. This project demonstrates NCRTC’s continued dedication to enhancing last-mile connectivity and incorporating clean energy solutions.
