Bengaluru-based electric vehicle manufacturer Simple Energy has announced a remarkable performance milestone, surpassing its entire FY2024–25 revenue by over 125% as of October 2025. The company’s expanding footprint, increased production capacity, and strong consumer demand for its electric scooters fueled this growth.
In October 2025, Simple Energy recorded its highest-ever monthly sales, achieving 1,050 units sold, including 974 units registered on the Vahan portal (excluding Telangana) and 76 units sold in Telangana. The sales were primarily driven by its popular models—the Simple ONE Gen 1.5 and Simple OneS—both of which have established themselves as top-performing electric scooters in the premium two-wheeler segment.
To meet the rising demand, Simple Energy has increased production by 40% at its state-of-the-art 200,000 sq. ft. facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. Additionally, the company has strengthened its workforce by expanding its marketing team to over 40 professionals, reinforcing its aggressive pan-India growth strategy. The company aims to establish 150 retail outlets and service centers across India by March 2026, enhancing customer accessibility and after-sales service.
Commenting on the milestone, Suhas Rajkumar, founder and CEO of Simple Energy, said:
“Crossing 1,000 units in monthly sales and exceeding last year’s revenue by 125% within seven months reflects the immense trust our customers place in Simple Energy. Every step—from scaling production to expanding our team and retail presence—has been focused on strengthening our operations and improving the customer experience. Our mission is to make sustainable mobility both aspirational and accessible.”
The company’s flagship models have been instrumental in this success. The Simple ONE Gen 1.5 offers an IDC range of 248 km, while the Simple OneS delivers 181 km, making them among the longest-range scooters in their class. Both models have received strong customer feedback for their design, performance, and range efficiency.
In a landmark achievement earlier this year, Simple Energy became India’s first OEM to commercially produce heavy rare-earth-free motors. These advanced motors maintain high torque and performance while reducing dependence on rare-earth elements, supporting India’s self-reliance goals in clean energy manufacturing.
Currently, Simple Energy operates 61 retail outlets across major cities, including Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kochi, Goa, Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam, Agra, and Jaipur. The company is now preparing to enter new markets such as Delhi, Bhopal, Patna, Ranchi, and Bhubaneswar, furthering its goal of becoming a nationwide EV powerhouse.
With its rapid growth trajectory, focus on innovation, and customer-first approach, Simple Energy is emerging as one of India’s most dynamic and trusted names in the electric mobility sector—leading the charge toward a greener, smarter future for urban transportation.
