      Nexon EV Max Goes International with its Launch in Nepal

      Indian automotive conglomerate, Tata Motors has introduced the new Nexon EV Max at a starting price of NPR 46.49 lakh (with 7.2 kW charging option) in Nepal.

      Nexon EV MaxEquipped with a 40.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, the Nexon EV MAX offers 33% higher battery capacity and has an ARAI-certified range of 453km (under standard testing conditions).

      The eco-friendly compact SUV, which develops 100 kW of power and 250 Nm torque, has a 0-100kph time of under 9 seconds.

      Commenting on the launch, Shailesh Chandra, MD, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles and Tata Passenger Electric Mobility, said: “Tata Motors has ushered in the EV revolution in Nepal, which has received overwhelming enthusiasm from customers for our portfolio of Nexon EV and Tigor EV. We are extremely delighted to introduce the Nexon EV Max in Nepal. This electric SUV offers an uncompromised driving experience by offering the best-in-class range, comfort, and a long list of intuitive features. The Nepal market has been a strong advocate for EVs, and this is evident from our growing EV sales here.”

      Siddhartha SJB Rana, executive chairman, Sipradi Companies, said, “The Nexon EV Max is an exciting product proposition for the Nepalese market. This product has generated a lot of excitement and anticipation among our customers.”

      The Nexon EV Max had been launched in India exactly a year ago, on May 11, 2022, and has helped the company expand its EV market share.
