Mobec Innovation Pvt. Ltd., founded by entrepreneur Harry Bajaj, is emerging as a key player in India’s electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem by pioneering mobile EV charging infrastructure and advanced battery recycling capabilities.

Positioning itself as India’s first full-range service provider of customizable mobile EV charging and energy storage solutions, Mobec is spearheading efforts to reduce the country’s reliance on fossil fuels and mined raw materials. In line with global decarbonization goals, the Noida-based company is also investing heavily in battery recycling and refurbishment.

Mobec’s recycling facility processes used lithium-ion batteries to recover high-value materials such as lithium, cobalt, copper, nickel, aluminum, graphite, and manganese. These recovered materials are then reused to manufacture new, high-performance batteries, significantly reducing the need for raw material extraction.

“Our operations are aligned with the global vision of decarbonizing transportation,” said the company in a statement. “By recycling EV batteries and reusing recovered materials, Mobec promotes resource conservation and supports India’s journey toward achieving net-zero emissions.”

In addition to recycling, Mobec is building capacity in battery refurbishment. The company offers testing, servicing, and upgrading of old batteries, which are then repurposed for use in home energy storage, commercial systems, or personal electronics—reducing e-waste and maximizing battery lifespan.

Mobec is also expanding its mobile EV charging network across major Indian cities. The company’s portable charging units are designed to make EV travel more convenient while eliminating range anxiety. These mobile systems aim to offer a flexible, eco-friendly charging solution that complements traditional charging infrastructure.

“Mobec is cultivating a future where green mobility meets innovative, accessible energy solutions,” the company said. “We are not only revolutionizing EV charging but also driving India’s transition to a sustainable, energy-efficient future.”

Through its dual strategy of battery circularity and charging innovation, Mobec is poised to play a pivotal role in India’s ambitious electrification goals.
