Terra Motors, the Japanese electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, is expanding its Kyoro electric three-wheeler footprint in Telangana and southern India, offering a strategic push for sustainable last-mile mobility solutions. Priced at Rs. 3.65 lakh on-road, the Kyoro EV features IP67-rated motors, a top speed of 55 km/h, and an impressive 200 km range per charge, designed to meet the diverse demands of Indian roads.

Strong Alignment with Telangana EV Policy

Terra Motors’ expansion aligns with the Telangana government’s EV policies, which provide 100% exemption from road tax and registration fees for all EVs until December 2026. Telangana has already recorded over 259,000 EV registrations, with 20,000 new electric autorickshaw permits issued in Hyderabad, highlighting the state’s potential as a major hub for electric mobility.

      Advanced Features and Performance

The Kyoro electric three-wheeler is engineered for robust performance and low operating costs, featuring:

      • 11.7 kWh battery with 200 km range per single charge

      • 2-speed gearbox enabling hill climbing up to 22% gradeability

      • 4-hour fast charging for quick turnaround

      • Compact design optimized for city traffic

      • 5-year warranty and zero down payment finance options

This combination of efficiency, durability, and affordability positions Kyoro as an attractive solution for both passenger and cargo EV operations.

      Dealer Opportunities and Strategic Expansion

Terra Motors is offering exclusive dealership territories across Hyderabad and other districts in Telangana, building on its successful partnerships with leading EV distributors in northern India. The company emphasises long-term collaboration with dealers, providing comprehensive support, market insights, and feedback mechanisms to ensure profitability and competitive advantage.

Go Suzuki, Managing Director, Terra Motors, stated:

“Kyoro is designed for Indian roads and drivers, aligning perfectly with Telangana’s green mobility goals. With strong government incentives, now is the ideal time for dealers to join the EV shift.”

Scaling Sustainable Mobility in Southern India

With government backing, proven vehicle performance, and attractive dealer incentives, Terra Motors aims to make Telangana a priority EV hub. The Kyoro electric three-wheeler is positioned to accelerate EV adoption, offering a profitable and sustainable transportation solution for India’s rapidly growing last-mile mobility market.
