VinFast Auto India has announced a strategic partnership with Castrol India to enhance its electric vehicle (EV) after-sales service network across the country. This collaboration aims to provide reliable, accessible, and high-quality service for VinFast EV customers, reinforcing the company’s commitment to building a trusted and robust EV ecosystem in India.

Expanding Access to Professional EV Service

Under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), selected Castrol Auto Service (CAS) workshops from Castrol’s network of over 750 outlets across more than 300 cities will cater to VinFast customers. These workshops will feature:

      • Dedicated VinFast-branded service bays

      • Certified EV technicians trained by VinFast

      • Availability of genuine VinFast parts and diagnostic tools

VinFast will provide service manuals, training, and warranty processes, while Castrol ensures infrastructure readiness and operational support to handle EV-specific requirements efficiently.

Strengthening Customer Confidence in EV Ownership

Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, highlighted the importance of reliable after-sales care:

“Reliable after-sales support is central to our vision of building an inclusive EV ecosystem in India. Partnering with Castrol ensures our customers have access to trusted, high-quality service nationwide.”

Rajeev Govil, Senior VP, India B2B, Castrol India, added:

“After-sales service is crucial to building customer confidence as electric mobility grows. Our Auto Service network is proud to support VinFast and its customers in making EV ownership seamless.”

Part of VinFast’s Broader India Strategy

This partnership complements VinFast’s local production and distribution investments. The company recently launched its first overseas assembly facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu, with an initial capacity of 50,000 vehicles annually, scalable to 150,000 units. VinFast also plans to establish 35 dealerships across 27 cities by the end of 2025, ensuring a widespread presence to support its growing EV customer base.

      Driving India’s Sustainable Mobility

By leveraging Castrol India’s well-established service network, VinFast aims to make EV ownership hassle-free and reliable, supporting India’s transition toward sustainable and future-ready mobility solutions. This initiative is expected to enhance customer satisfaction and accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles across the country.
