      JK Tyre & Industries, along with equity partners Mitsui Co., Ltd. (Japan) and VDL Groep (Netherlands), has established a strategic cooperation with EKA Mobility. By working together, JK Tyre is able to further solidify its leadership position in the market for “Connected Mobility Solutions,” which include a distinctive cloud-based monitoring system. Sanjeev Sharma, AVP, Fleet Management & Mobility Solutions at JK Tyre, and Vijaykumar Yelne, President of EKA Mobility, were present during the ceremonial signing of the cooperation agreement in Pune.

      Under this partnership, JK Tyre will supply EKA’s fleet with its next-generation EV tyres equipped with Connected Treel Sensors for real-time monitoring. JK Tyre will also provide round-the-clock support through a dedicated team of professionals stationed at depots and offering enroute assistance. Initially, the support will focus on EKA’s fleet in Mumbai, with plans to expand across all cities.

      The collaboration aims develop and produce new-generation EV tyres, specifically designed to meet the demands of electric vehicles. JK Tyre’s mobility solutions manage fleets for leading brands across the country, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency with innovative products.

      EKA Mobility, known for its end-to-end design, manufacturing, and technology of electric commercial vehicles, has introduced various electric and hydrogen fuel-cell vehicles tailored for Indian customers. The partnership with JK Tyre is set to further EKA’s mission of sustainable mobility.
