JK Tyre’s Smart Ranger HPE Offers High Durability for EVs

Leading Tyre Manufacturer in India, JK Tyre has launched its range of EV-specific smart radial Ranger HPE tyres.

Ranger HPE TyresIt will be available for all categories including buses, trucks, LCVs, and passenger cars in India.

The Ranger HPE tyres have been engineered specifically to cater to the unique needs of electric mobility with ultra-low resistance, improved wet and dry traction, higher durability and lower energy consumption.

The trade patterns on these Ranger HPE tyres have been crafted using FEA simulations for lower noise and better wear characteristics.

JK Tyre designed and developed the Ranger HPE tyres at their state-of-the-art global technology centre- Raghupati Singhania Centre of Excellence.

The Ranger HPE tyres are also fitted with Treel TMPS sensors which were developed and perfected in-house.

The Ranger HPE tyres for buses, LCVs and trucks are available in 17.5-inches and 22.5-inches tubeless sizes. JBM EV buses will be supplied with JK Tyre EV range of tyres which will be comprised mainly of 22.5-inches units.

Speaking on the occasion of the launch was the Technical Director, JK Tyre and Industrial Ltd., V.K, Misra.

“Our Smart Tyres are developed with EV specific next Gen Design philosophy making the entire range Smarter, Quieter, Durable and Energy efficient,” he further added.

JK Tyre is present in 105 countries with over 180 global distribution centers.

The company also has 12 sustainable manufacturing facilities – 9 in India and 3 in Mexico. The company collectively produces 32 million tyres annually.
