Owners of the Prologue and Acura ZDX can now access Tesla Superchargers thanks to Honda’s recent announcement. With Google’s built-in maps and over 23,500 Superchargers around the United States, your next road trip has never been easier.

It’s official. Drivers of Honda and Acura vehicles can now connect to and recharge at Tesla Superchargers located throughout the United States. After making the announcement, American Honda associate vice president Ryan Harty stated, “Our Honda and Acura EV owners now have an easier time planning road trips.”

Honda’s new NACS to CSS DC fast charger adapter allows Prologue and ZDX drivers to connect to the network. The adapters cost $225 and may be purchased at Honda and Acura dealerships or on Honda DreamShop.

With Honda’s standard in-car Google Maps, you can view and travel to Supercharger sites, making it even easier.

To begin the charging process, you must first utilise the Tesla app. Honda is working to incorporate it into the Acura EV and HondaLink apps, though. Additionally, it stated that efforts are now underway to develop plug-and-charge capabilities.

According to Honda, there will be about 100,000 DC fast chargers available to EV owners in North America by 2030, including Tesla Superchargers, EVgo, and IONNA.

A surprising success has been the Honda Prologue. The Prologue was the second-best-selling electric SUV in the United States for the second half of 2024, after the Tesla Model Y, after the first customer cars were delivered in March.

The Honda Prologue continues to rank among the best-selling EVs overall through the first half of 2025. 16,317 electric SUVs have been sold by Honda so far this year.

Acura has sold even more ZDX cars than it anticipated, making it something of a dark horse in the US premium EV market.

Under the radar, the ZDX has been a success. Acura ZDX sales through the first half of the year reached 10,355 after more than 1,300 vehicles were sold in June. That is more than the Cadillac Lyriq, which is built on the same Ultium EV platform and has sold roughly 9,300 vehicles.

More than Acura had expected, in fact. Acura’s vice president of national sales, Mike Langel, said earlier this year that the firm only anticipated selling about 1,000 ZDX cars per month in 2025.

In recent months, some of the largest EV discounts have been available from Honda and Acura. With incentives, Acura is giving the ZDX about $30,000 off in some places, making it more cost-effective to lease than a Honda CR-V.
