EMotorad, one of India’s leading electric mobility brands, has announced the launch of ‘Dope’, the country’s first 24T e-cycle designed exclusively for young riders. Priced at ₹19,999, the Dope e-cycle combines affordability, safety, and advanced suspension technology to provide children with a fun and reliable mobility experience.

Engineered with an 80 mm travel suspension fork, the e-cycle ensures a smooth ride across varied terrains, from city streets to rugged paths. Safety remains central to the design, with auto cut-off e-brakes that stop the cycle immediately in emergencies, giving young riders added confidence and control. Powered by a 36V 250W rear hub motor, the Dope provides the right level of assistance, enabling children to tackle longer rides and steeper inclines with ease.

Comfort and durability are also key highlights. Built with a high-tensile steel frame, 24-inch nylon tyres, and double-wall aluminium alloy rims, the Dope balances strength and lightweight handling. Its single-speed drivetrain simplifies riding, ensuring ease of use for children without the complexity of gear shifting.

Kunal Gupta, Co-Founder and CEO of EMotorad, emphasised the company’s focus on young riders, stating:

“Dope was designed with utmost care to balance safety, comfort, and reliability while keeping the fun element alive. Parents can feel confident about their children riding safely, while kids get the freedom to explore.”

Key specifications include a 36V 5.2Ah removable Li-ion battery, a Cluster C2 display, three levels of pedal assist, a top speed of 17 km/h, and a range of up to 22 km on pedal assist. The e-cycle supports riders between 4.2 ft and 4.9 ft in height, with a maximum weight capacity of 80 kg. Charging takes just 2–3 hours.

EMotorad is offering strong warranty coverage—five years for the frame, two years for the battery, and one year for the motor and controller—highlighting the company’s confidence in its product’s longevity.

The Dope e-cycle is available through EMotorad’s nationwide dealer network and on leading online platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart. Customers buying online can also access an exclusive limited-edition Sea Green variant.

By combining safety, performance, and affordability, EMotorad’s Dope sets a new benchmark for sustainable mobility solutions tailored to India’s young riders.
