DriveX has come up with a unique artificial intelligence (AI) technology, the Self-Inspection feature, which lets pre-owned two-wheeler sellers personally assess the value of their motorcycle and get a real-time price estimate.

The launch of this AI-Powered Self-Inspection feature by DriveX is a major paradigm shift in the two-wheeler resale market, where price quotes have hitherto relied on physical dealer inspection or personal estimates. As the pre-owned two-wheeler market is expected to grow to $30 billion in five years at a 12% year-on-year (YoY) growth rate, the demand for easier, more transparent, and user-friendly solutions is mounting.

DriveX’s Self-Inspection functionality blends AI-driven visual inspection technology with a market-algorithm-driven valuation to provide instant valuations. Sellers are taken through a simple process: providing basic vehicle information and then uploading standardised images and video of the vehicle. A brief questionnaire addressing the most important elements, such as engine performance, condition of the brakes, and accident history, serves to further fine-tune the analysis.

Sellers can either complete the inspection digitally using the newly launched AI-powered self-inspection tool by DriveX or visit any of DriveX’s 60+ stores across Karnataka and Tamil Nadu for a professional evaluation, ensuring a convenient and transparent process. The AI system analyses the inputs to identify the visible damage, wear and tear, and mechanical performance indicators—coming up with a market-adjusted estimate of price in real time. The open pricing model also takes into account the cost of refurbishment, giving sellers more understanding of how their vehicle’s condition affects its resale value.

This technology is a significant development for the two-wheeler resale market, bringing advanced self-service inspection capabilities—previously available only in luxury car resale—to everyday two-wheeler owners. By making it possible for sellers to perform remote, AI-based inspections, DriveX is streamlining the process, reducing delays, and increasing transparency in pricing.

Once the sellers receive a price quote, they can proceed to book a final appointment for a professional inspection, formalise a final offer, and get instant payment once the transaction is completed.

The Self-Inspection feature is now live and working on the DriveX official website, providing two-wheeler owners with a far simpler, convenient, and more transparent way to sell their vehicles.
