Ather Energy has started the deliveries of 450S electric scooter in the Indian market.

Ather deliveryTarun Mehta, Co-founder and CEO of Ather Energy, shared an image of the delivery.

Priced at ₹1.30 lakh ex-showroom, the 450S is the most budget-friendly electric scooter in Ather’s lineup, competing with the Ola S1 Air.

Bookings for the 450S began in June, with the pricing aligning with the FAME 2 scheme and potential additional benefits from state-specific electric vehicle policies.

While the Ather 450S shares its design with the 450X, cost-effective changes have been made. Equipped with a 3-kWh lithium-ion battery pack, the Ather 450S boasts a claimed range of 115 km on a single charge.

Home chargers can reach 80% charge in approximately six hours and 36 minutes, with a full charge taking eight hours and 36 minutes.

The electric motor generates a peak power of 7.24 bhp and a maximum torque of 22 Nm, allowing the 450S to reach a top speed of 90 kmph. The scooter offers three ride modes: Sport, Eco, and Ride mode.
