      Another Hotel Chain Plans to Deploy EV Chargers in India

      Promoting electric mobility, Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Ltd (ASPHL) has joined forces with Tata Power to deploy electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure for four-wheelers across its pan India hotel chains.

      Tata Power As part of the company’s planet-positive initiatives, all the brands under the ASPHL Group, i.e. THE Park Hotels, THE Park Collection, Zone by The Park, and Zone Connect, would install public charging infrastructure at their premises.

      These fleet-charging facilities would make the ASPHL Group one of the top Hotel chains to adopt EVs across the country.

      Tata Power has developed a user-friendly mobile App, enabling EV consumers to locate charging stations, which can be booked in advance, or as required, including payment of the same. ASPHL’s hotels present in each city will also feature as part of this application across the country.

      Commenting on the EV charging infrastructure installation across its hotel chains, Vijay Dewan, Managing Director of Apeejay Surrendra Park Hotels Ltd, said, “we have always worked towards sustainability through our five core areas for strategic action. By implementing EV infrastructure, we are taking this a step ahead in the direction of reducing carbon footprint and being sustainable. With feasible, consistent accessibility of electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE), it will play a key role in making it easy for our guests to use the service and act as an added service benefit.”
