      Volvo Cars India has officially launched the EX30 electric SUV in India at an introductory price of ₹39.99 lakh (ex-showroom), available for bookings until October 19, 2025. Post this period, the price will rise to ₹41 lakh. The EX30 marks Volvo’s third locally assembled EV at the Hosakote plant, highlighting the company’s growing commitment to the Indian electric mobility market.

      Design and Features

      Exterior: The EX30 features Volvo’s signature ‘Thor’s Hammer’ LED daytime running lights, a clean front grille, black cladding, 19-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels, and split LED taillamps. A roof-mounted black spoiler enhances its sporty silhouette.

      Interior: The cabin boasts a minimalist dual-tone light grey and black design, a fixed panoramic sunroof, 2-zone electronic climate control, and power-adjustable seats with lumbar support. An integrated Harman Kardon 1040W nine-speaker system ensures a premium audio experience.

      Safety: Volvo has equipped the EX30 with seven airbags, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a 360-degree camera, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for enhanced safety.

      Performance and Range

      • Battery & Motor: 69 kWh lithium-ion battery with a rear-axle-mounted motor

      • Power Output: 268 bhp and 343 Nm torque

      • Acceleration: 0-100 km/h in 5.3 seconds

      • Top Speed: 180 km/h (electronically limited)

      • Range: 480 km (WLTP-claimed)

      Deliveries of the Volvo EX30 EV will commence in early November 2025, with bookings open now. Customers can take advantage of the special introductory pricing before October 19.

      The EX30 positions Volvo as a key player in India’s premium EV segment, offering performance, safety, and sustainability for urban and highway driving.
