With the development of a model range and customer support network aimed at making electric vehicles (EVs) both aspirational and affordable for European consumers, VinFast is leading the way in the EV market. The incorporation of what3words technology into the VF 8 model is a crucial component of this endeavor, with the goal of improving user experience and streamlining navigation.

What3words, a technology that allows drivers enter exact locations using a special combination of three words in place of conventional postcodes or street names, is now available on the VF 8. This innovation solves typical navigational problems, like locating certain building entrances or places without street addresses, like newly constructed homes and remote residences.

VinFast’s open sales and aftersales models demonstrate their dedication to making EV ownership simple. The two variants available for the VF 8 are Eco and Plus, both of which have excellent baseline characteristics at affordable costs. When comparable options are taken into consideration, the VF 8 Plus is priced 14.5% less than competitors in Europe. For the 87.7 kWh battery, VinFast also offers a 10-year, 200,000km warranty with unlimited mileage coverage, guaranteeing complete coverage and peace of mind.

This invention is consistent with VinFast’s overarching plan to enhance the EV ownership experience through the use of technology and strategic alliances. VinFast’s implementation of what3words helps to improve navigation accuracy and user-friendliness, which lowers the possibility of drivers being mislead by out-of-date directions as the system gains traction globally.
