In a significant move to democratise electric mobility for urban logistics, Vaidyuthi Mobility has launched the Gully100, an innovative electric three-wheeler designed for mid-load deliveries. What sets the Gully100 apart is that it can be operated with a standard two-wheeler licence, thanks to new regulatory reforms, removing the need for a commercial LMV-3 licence.
The Gully100 is purpose-built to address the delivery challenges in Indian cities, particularly for loads that are too heavy for two-wheelers and too small for traditional autos. It supports a payload capacity of 50–400 kg, offering a much-needed middle ground for delivery professionals.
Key Features of Gully100:
-
Licence Accessibility: Operable with a two-wheeler licence, expanding the pool of eligible drivers.
-
Dual-Motor Design: Boosts torque and load-handling capability.
-
Adaptive Suspension: Breathe & Adapt™ system for improved ride comfort on rough urban roads.
-
Safety Systems: Includes tilt guard, active swing arm, and electronic differential for rollover protection and better handling.
-
Real-World Range: Approximately 120 km per charge, ideal for long shifts in dense urban settings.
-
Spacious Cabin: Market-leading space and ergonomic design for driver comfort.
The Gully100 is available in both cargo and passenger variants, with support for fleet operators including app-based control, remote diagnostics, and modular chassis design. The vehicle also qualifies for central and state EV incentives and operates on an open platform with no franchise restrictions.
Hari Vasudevan, Co-founder and CTO of Vaidyuthi Mobility, stated, “We engineered the Gully100 around the realities of Indian delivery—bad roads, heavy loads, and long hours. It’s one of the safest and most practical EVs we’ve built to date.”
Raj Kumar, CEO of Vaidyuthi, added, “We’re not just launching an EV—we’re creating a new segment. Gully100 fills the gap between overloaded scooters and underutilised autos. It’s built exactly for where logistics demand exists.”
Pre-orders for the Gully100 will begin in October 2025, with commercial deliveries scheduled to start from November 2025.
This launch not only empowers gig economy workers and small business owners with more accessible EV solutions but also aligns with India’s broader vision for clean, connected, and cost-effective urban mobility.
