TVS Motor Company, a global leader in two- and three-wheeler mobility, has launched its latest electric scooter, the TVS Orbiter, aimed at redefining urban commuting with a blend of innovation, comfort, and sustainability.

Priced at ₹99,900 (ex-showroom, inclusive of PM e-Drive scheme, Bengaluru and New Delhi), the Orbiter introduces several segment-first features, including a 158 km IDC range, cruise control, hill hold assist, a 34-litre under-seat boot space, and an industry-first 14-inch front wheel for enhanced ride stability.

Speaking at the launch, Gaurav Gupta, President, India 2W Business, TVS Motor Company, said:

“With TVS Orbiter, we are expanding our EV ecosystem and accelerating the adoption of electric mobility in India. This launch reflects our commitment to delivering technology-led, sustainable solutions that enhance customer experience and redefine everyday commuting.”

The scooter is powered by a 3.1 kWh battery, offering strong performance supported by enhanced aerodynamic efficiency for greater stability and energy savings. The upright ergonomic handlebar, long 845 mm flat seat, and 290 mm straight-line footboard further enhance comfort and utility.

The design philosophy of the Orbiter blends modern aesthetics with functionality, offering practicality through twin-helmet storage and premium finishes.

On the technology front, the Orbiter integrates advanced connected features, including crash and fall alerts, geo-fencing, live location tracking, anti-theft alerts, smart navigation, and OTA updates. Riders also benefit from cruise control, regenerative braking, dual riding modes, and a coloured LCD cluster with call and SMS notifications.

Aniruddha Haldar, Senior Vice President — Head Commuter & EV Business, TVS Motor Company, commented:

“The TVS Orbiter combines everyday practicality with advanced technology and sustainability. It represents our next step in redefining India’s urban commuting landscape.”

The Orbiter will be available in six vibrant colours — Neon Sunburst, Stratos Blue, Lunar Grey, Stellar Silver, Cosmic Titanium, and Martian Copper — appealing to a wide range of urban commuters.

With its bold design, connected features, and segment-first innovations, the TVS Orbiter is positioned to set new benchmarks in the affordable premium EV scooter segment while strengthening TVS Motor’s leadership in India’s fast-growing electric mobility market.
