To meet the rising demand, the British company plans to launch three new models in India over the course of the next eight to nine months, spanning a variety of market niches.
Last year, JSW-MG Motor India made a significant impact as the Windsor EV, its newest model, dominated the Indian electric vehicle market. It debuted a number of new vehicles during the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo in New Delhi earlier this year. Among other vehicles, the British company debuted the Majestor full-sized SUV, the M9 luxury electric MPV, and the Cyberster convertible two-door electric coupe. We shall go into great detail regarding the MG vehicles that will be available in India in the next eight to nine months in this article.
1. MG Cyberster
It will be the first MG vehicle offered for sale through the nation’s exclusive MG Select premium retail locations. The Cyberster, which was inspired by the 1960s MG B Roadster, will have the smallest 77 kWh battery pack. It will feature a maximum torque of 725 Nm and a maximum power of 505 BHP. The first electric vehicle in India to include scissor doors with two radar sensors will be the MG Cyberster.
The two-door electric coupe’s aerodynamic Kammback design, rear five-link independent suspension, 50:50 front and rear weight distribution, and a 3.2-second 0-100 kmph time are some of its other noteworthy features. The Cyberster electric roadster is already available for pre-order, and deliveries are anticipated to start in August 2025.
2. MG M9
Alongside the Cyberster, the MG M9, which is being marketed as India’s first electric three-row presidential limousine, will be sold through the MG Select showrooms. Numerous opulent features have been included, including a 64-colour ambient lighting system, two Yacht-style panoramic sunroofs, Presidential chairs with 16-way adjustment, eight massage settings, ventilation and heating, and touchscreen armrests on the second row’s reclining ottoman seats.
With its 90 kWh battery pack, the M9 MPV will have a 430-kilometre driving range between charges. It will have front-wheel drive and produce 238 horsepower and 350 Nm. Additionally compatible with DC fast charging, the MG M9 can be charged from 30 to 80 percent in 30 minutes using a 120 kW station. A token payment of Rs 51,000 is required to reserve the electric MPV in advance.
3. MG Majestor
In India, the Majestor SUV will take the Gloster’s place in the brand’s lineup. With features including Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, it is anticipated to debut in the Indian market by the end of 2025. The Gloster will share the gearbox and engine. In India, it should cost more than Rs 55 lakh.
