Europe, with its stringent emission regulations and strong push towards green energy, has also witnessed a surge in PHEV adoption. Countries like Norway, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom have seen significant increases in PHEV registrations, supported by government incentives and widespread charging infrastructure.

      Despite their advantages, PHEVs face several challenges. The high initial cost of PHEVs, driven by expensive battery packs, can be a barrier for many consumers. However, as battery technology advances and economies of scale are achieved, these costs are expected to decrease.

      Charging infrastructure is another critical factor. While home charging is convenient for many PHEV owners, the availability of public charging stations is essential for broader adoption. Governments and private companies are investing in expanding charging networks, which will benefit PHEV users.
