German automotive manufacturer, MG Motors has recently revealed a teaser of it’s the interior of the upcoming electric vehicle, MG Comet EV.

Comet EVThe picture shows iPod-like controls for the steering wheel including round multifunction ones.

The round controls differ from what is typically found on standard automobiles. You can also see that it will have two 10.25-inch screens, one of which will be huge and serve as the instrument cluster, as well as a touchscreen.

The enormous touch screen makes it a lot bigger than different vehicles costing this much and would be one of the features of the Comet.

The two-spoke multifunction steering wheel of the new Comet, which has been shown off by MG, might make you think of the Apple iPod. It certainly appears as though the steering wheel’s buttons were modeled after those on the Apple iPod.

Round knobs are also visible on the steering wheel, and the interior features two steering wheels with minimalist controls. If you look closer, you’ll notice that the air conditioning vents are small, and the cabin’s white theme also looks like the iPod. That is in keeping with the car’s simple theme design.

Regardless of its compact impression, the Comet has a long wheelbase and that implies more space as well. This is because of the adaptability offered by an electric platform.

Despite having only two doors, the Comet has a lot of room inside. Although the list of features has not been made public by MG, we anticipate a comprehensive equipment list that includes features like climate control, electric parking brake, and connected car technology. Additionally, it will have numerous safety features.

A 10.25-inch infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and connected car technology are also expected on the upcoming MG EV.

The MG Comet EV definitely resembles the rebranded Wuling Air EV that is sold in the Indonesian market in terms of its exterior design.

The MG Comet EV might have a 25-kWh battery and a 50-kW motor, according to sources. On a single charge, the MG Comet EV should be able to travel between 250 and 300 kilometres.

The MG Comet is anticipated to have two battery packs with two range estimates, with a range of 200-300 kilometres.

Cost wise, the MG Comet could be set between Rs 10-15 lakh relying upon the trim and it is put as a metropolitan versatility arrangements vehicle. The vehicle would be launched soon and we would be driving it soon too as well.
