      Tata EVs lead in safety, score 5-star ratings NCAP crash tests

      Tata Nexon EV has secured a 5-star rating in both adult and child safety categories. This electric SUV, which has been the top-selling electric car in India since its launch, scored 29.86 out of 32 in adult safety, successfully achieving in the front offset deformation barrier test (14.26 out of 16) and side movable deformation barrier test (15.60 out of 16). In the child safety category, the SUV scored 44.95 out of 49.

      Tata Punch EV is the newest electric car from Tata Motors. Like the Nexon EV, the Punch EV has also received a 5-star safety rating in both adult and child safety categories in India NCAP crash tests. The Punch EV scored 31.46 out of 32 for adult safety and 45.00 out of 49 for child safety.

      The Tata Punch EV comes with standard safety features such as six airbags, ABS, and ESC in all variants, while additional safety features include a blind spot monitor, ISOFIX mounts, and three-point seatbelts for all seats.
