Switch Mobility, an Ashok Leyland company, has recruited Pushkar Sinha as its new Sales Head for electric-light commercial vehicles (e-LCVs). Sinha formerly served as the Vice President of Business Development and OEM Relations at Sun Mobility, according to his LinkedIn page.

Mahesh Babu, the global CEO of Switch Mobility, confirmed this development, emphasising that Sinha will directly report to Sachin Nijhawan, the chief commercial officer at the company.

This appointment comes at a crucial juncture for Switch Mobility, which aims to manufacture approximately 3,000 units per year of its IeV series electric light commercial vehicles. The IeV series caters to various categories, including cargo transport, containers, garbage vans, and refrigerated vans.

Furthermore, Switch Mobility has already inked Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) for 12,000 to 13,000 e-LCVs. The company is actively engaged in selective customer trials for its e-trucks, signalling its commitment to sustainable mobility solutions.
