      Pricol to Manufacture BMS in India with this Tech Partnership

      Coimbatore based Automotive Company Pricol has formed a technology partnership with BMS PowerSafe, part of Startec Energy Group to manufacture battery management systems (BMS) for electric vehicles in all segments.

      Manufacture BMSAccording to a statement issued, Pricol has signed an international licensing agreement with BMS PowerSafe to sell as well as manufacture BMS for the Indian market.

      As part of the agreement, BMS PowerSafe will develop the software and provide its BMS platform as a solution in consultation with Pricol.

      “As part of our EV-specific growth strategy, we continuously evaluate business opportunities in the market to provide the best solutions to OEMs. Vikram Mohan, Managing Director, Pricol says, “One of the areas that we have zoned in was Battery Management System (BMS) as it plays a vital role in any EV vehicle and is very important for our driver information system products in terms of integration. Complements well with class.”,

      He further added, “At BMS PowerSafe, we have found an ideal partner who brings a best-in-class solution for a battery management system with best-in-class technology that can be suitably customized as per OEM requirements.”

      Continuing the discussion, Thomas Debuisser, CEO, of BMS PowerSafe, says, “The Indian automotive industry is poised for rapid growth in electrification in the years to come. Pricol is an established player in this sector as a solution provider with strong OEM connections and we are very excited to join hands with Pricol, bringing our 20+ years of experience as a pure player to manufacture BMS and offering end-to-end. solution with the highest level of security features.”

      Founded in 1975 in Coimbatore, Pricol is an automotive technology company that specializes in driver information systems and sensors, and telematics and wiping systems for automotive OEMs in two/three-wheelers, passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles and off-road vehicles across India. works in international markets.
