Omega Seiki Pvt. Ltd. has introduced the Omega Seiki NRG, an electric passenger three-wheeler with a longer driving range, in partnership with Clean Electric. Priced at Rs 3.55 lakh (ex-showroom), the car is said to have a range of over 300 kilometers on a single charge. It is equipped with a 15 kWh battery pack and comes with a 5-year or 200,000 km battery warranty.

The launch intends to address the growing demand for electric mobility solutions in India, notably for fleet operators and organizations seeking cost-effective alternatives to conventional fuel-powered vehicles. Omega Seiki Pvt. Ltd. has announced intentions to deploy 5,000 units of the Omega Seiki NRG by the next financial year to expand accessibility to electric three-wheelers.

The FLO 150, a 15 kWh LFP battery pack created by Clean Electric, powers the Omega Seiki NRG. In order to improve thermal management and safety and guarantee dependable performance in a range of weather situations, the battery incorporates Direct Contact Liquid Cooling (DCLC) technology. Clean Electric’s cell-to-pack architecture maximizes energy storage, contributing to the vehicle’s claimed 300 km range.

Additionally, the vehicle can be charged 150 km in 45 minutes using the Bharat DC-001 public charging infrastructure. Omega Seiki Pvt. Ltd. has been extending its electric vehicle range, which includes two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers. The company has manufacturing facilities in Delhi NCR and Pune and is planning further expansion in Chennai. Currently, it runs more than 250 dealerships throughout India.
