EV battery manufacturing start-up, Neuron Energy has teamed up with electric two-wheeler maker EVTRIC Motors.

Neuron Energy With this tie-up, Neuron Energy will supply 12,000 battery packs to EVTRIC annually, generating an approximate revenue of INR 50 crore.

EVTRIC will receive extensive holistic service support from Neuron Energy.

This strategic and long-term partnership also offers EVTRIC Motors continuous support for their battery pack requirements.

Pratik Kamdar, Co-Founder, Neuron Energy, said, “Our association with EVTRIC will help us expand the reach of our offerings and cater to a wider audience. Our batteries are safe and thoroughly tested and we ensure to provide post-sales service support in case of any discrepancy to avoid any untoward incidents. We are hopeful that together we’ll be able to transition more consumers from regular two-wheelers to EVs thus substantially reducing carbon footprint and building a greener future.”

India witnessed substantial growth in the electric two-wheeler segment in August, even after raising concerns about battery safety.

This implies the ever-growing demand for EVs and growing eco-consciousness among consumers.

It is predicted that by 2030, the sale of electric two-wheeler segment will witness a humungous growth of 78% of the two-wheeler sales.

The necessary government support, policies, infrastructure, and consumer mindset of accepting EVs will accelerate the adoption rate further.
