Mobec Innovation (Mobec.io), a pioneer in mobile and modular EV infrastructure, has secured a major industry breakthrough as its Mobec Energy Storage Solutions receive official approval from Oil Lube Systems, a long-trusted partner of India’s top automobile manufacturers. The validation marks a significant shift in India’s push toward clean, decentralised, and scalable EV power ecosystems.
India’s EV fleet will have crossed 4.5 million vehicles by mid-2025, driven by progressive government incentives, rising environmental awareness, and an accelerated adoption curve across urban and semi-urban regions. Riding this momentum, Mobec’s collaboration with Oil Lube Systems—an organisation widely recognised for helping OEMs transition away from diesel gensets—further strengthens the country’s transition to clean mobility.
The approval, backed by Oil Lube Systems’ partnerships with automotive leaders including Maruti Suzuki and NEXA, positions Mobec’s solutions as a reliable alternative to traditional gensets. Instead of diesel-based backup power, OEMs, fleet operators, and service networks can now adopt clean, mobile, and modular energy storage systems to ensure uninterrupted power supply while reducing emissions.
Earlier this year at the Bharat Mobility Expo, Mobec’s Service on Wheels platform showcased strong product-market fit for its portable ESS units—reinforcing industry confidence in the company’s technology-first approach.
Harry Bajaj, founder & CEO of Mobec Innovation, emphasised the significance of this development, stating:
“We’re not just building solutions—we’re powering the EV revolution. This strategic direction reflects the industry’s trust in our ability to deliver scalable, distributed, and user-first energy innovations. Our continuous R&D efforts will ensure the ecosystem receives the technological support it needs.”
Mobec’s charge-ready, modular ESS platforms aim to solve one of India’s biggest EV challenges—charging accessibility. By eliminating the dependence on fixed infrastructure and high upfront investment, Mobec offers flexible power solutions for OEMs, logistics fleets, service providers, and charging operators. These systems are built on clean energy principles, supporting India’s broader net-zero transportation vision.
As the nation progresses toward achieving 30% EV penetration by 2030, the demand for adaptive, deployable, and intelligent energy systems will continue to rise. Mobec’s partnership with Oil Lube Systems and leading automakers signals a clear industry shift toward future-ready, sustainable, and distributed energy architecture—forming a critical backbone for India’s rapidly evolving EV ecosystem.
