      Mixed Day for Indian EV and Auto Stocks on August 25

      On August 25, 2025, India’s electric vehicle (EV) and auto parts stocks experienced a mixed trading day, with some stocks gaining favor while others pulled slightly back.

      Amara Raja Energy & Mobility closed a bit lower at ₹986.55, down 0.13%, while Bharat Electronics and Greaves Cotton recorded slight decreases of 0.75% and 0.73% respectively. Bosch decreased by 0.62% to ₹39,085, while JBM Auto saw a slight decline of 0.28% to ₹636.65.

      Conversely, HBL Engineering saw a notable decline of 2.55% to ₹780.30, whereas Uniparts India experienced the largest drop of the day, decreasing 2.90% to ₹407.85

      Meanwhile, several key players ended on a positive note. Bharat Forge gained 1.47% to close at ₹1,139.40, and Hero MotoCorp added 1.32% to ₹5,063.80. Exide Industries also advanced 1.07%, while Minda Corporation climbed 0.99%.

      Strong rallies were seen in new-age and EV-focused stocks. Ola Electric jumped 2.93% to ₹48.57, and is benefiting from rising investor enthusiasm in the EV startup space. Olectra Greentech, which continues to lead the electric bus segment, delivered the session’s best performance improvement by rising 3.04% to ₹1,600.60. Uno Minda also continued its upward momentum, gaining 1.40% to ₹1,283.40.

      Sona Comstar rose 0.34% to ₹451.15, while Tata Motors ended at ₹686.80, up 0.96%. HEG also had a gain of 0.88%, at ₹490.95.

      Overall, the trading trend reflected investors’ cautious stance between taking profits on established counters and optimism on the emerging EV and component leaders.
