In a major achievement for India’s electric mobility landscape, Mahindra Last Mile Mobility Limited (MLMML), a subsidiary of the Mahindra Group, has crossed the landmark figure of 3 lakh electric vehicle (EV) sales, reaffirming its position as the country’s leading player in the commercial EV segment. This milestone solidifies Mahindra’s dominance in the rapidly growing last-mile mobility market and highlights India’s accelerating transition toward sustainable transportation.

Record-Breaking Growth in India’s EV Market

The company’s announcement marks a significant step forward in India’s clean mobility mission. Notably, the company sold one lakh EVs in just 12 months, demonstrating the exponential rise in demand for efficient, eco-friendly last-mile transportation solutions. This achievement positions MLMML as the first Indian OEM to surpass 300,000 EV sales in the commercial segment.

Mahindra’s strong lineup—including the Treo, Treo Zor, Zor Grand, e-Alfa, and Mahindra ZEO—has driven this success. Together, these models have collectively logged over 5 billion kilometres on Indian roads and have helped prevent approximately 185 kilometric tonnes of CO₂ emissions—equivalent to planting over 4.3 million trees.

      Technology and Customer-Centric Innovations

To commemorate the milestone, MLMML unveiled an upgraded version of its digital fleet management platform, NEMO (Next-Generation Mobility Platform). Available on iOS, Android, and web, the platform allows customers to monitor vehicle data in real-time, track fleet performance, book services, and request roadside assistance—enhancing operational efficiency for both individual owners and large fleet operators.

Earlier, the company had introduced the UDAY NXT Program when it achieved the ₹2 lakh milestone, offering enhanced financial literacy programs, driver empowerment initiatives, and ₹20 lakh accident insurance coverage to ensure long-term driver well-being.

      Commitment to Sustainable Mobility

Speaking about the achievement, Mahindra executives highlighted the company’s ongoing mission to build a greener, more connected India. MLMML specifically designs its vehicles to meet India’s dynamic transportation needs, emphasising affordability, reliability, and zero-emission performance.

The company continues to invest in R&D, digital fleet solutions, and local manufacturing to ensure sustained leadership in the evolving EV market. This milestone further strengthens Mahindra’s contribution to India’s national clean mobility targets and the government’s “Make in India” and “Atmanirbhar Bharat” initiatives.

      Accelerating India’s Clean Mobility Transformation

Mahindra Last Mile Mobility’s achievement underscores the rapid pace of EV adoption in India’s commercial transportation sector—especially among delivery service providers, urban logistics operators, and fleet owners who prioritise low operating costs and sustainability.

By combining robust vehicle design, connected technology, and strong after-sales support, Mahindra is shaping the future of zero-emission last-mile connectivity in India. The company aims to continue scaling its EV portfolio, expand charging infrastructure partnerships, and further integrate digital ecosystem solutions to enhance customer experience and vehicle performance.
