Latitude, a prominent renewable energy company in Italy, has teamed up with AMPECO, a well-known EV charging software provider worldwide, to install more than 10,000 EV charging stations throughout the nation over the course of the next five years, significantly advancing Italy’s green mobility objectives.

The rollout, which is supported by an initial €2 million investment, will be led by Latitude’s recently created e-mobility brand, ELEVEN. Every charging station will only run on certified green energy from Latitude’s extensive renewable energy portfolio.

By fusing AMPECO’s hardware-agnostic, AI-driven EV charging management platform with Latitude’s 12 years of experience in renewable energy, the partnership represents a significant advancement in tackling Italy’s EV infrastructure reliability gap. Additionally, the project supports more general ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals by providing a sustainable and scalable mobility solution for both public and business customers.

“We’re using everything we’ve learnt about EV mobility from Italy’s solar energy boom.” Franco Valentini, General Manager at Latitude, stated, “We are confident in delivering top-tier user experiences with AMPECO’s flexible and dependable platform.”

Latitude intends to become a full-fledged Charge Point Operator (CPO) after initially functioning as an e-Mobility Service Provider (eMSP) in partnership with regional networks. In addition to guaranteeing smooth roaming over fast and ultra-fast charging networks, the alliance will give priority to destination-based hubs and enterprise office charging.

With real-time monitoring, remote issue resolution, and AI-powered diagnostics that automate solutions for up to 80% of charging failures, AMPECO’s software guarantees uptime perfection. In order to address the persistent problem of inconsistent charging experiences in the Italian EV market, these elements are essential.

Orlin Radev, CEO of AMPECO, stated, “Latitude is the kind of forward-thinking partner we seek — deeply committed to both renewable energy and superior EV driver experiences.” Together, we’re constructing the framework for Italy’s future e-mobility.

Both businesses place a strong emphasis on a long-term strategic partnership that goes beyond normal vendor-client relationships. In addition to mass deployment, the objective is the development of intelligent, robust, and sustainable charging infrastructure to satisfy the increasing needs of Italy’s rapidly increasing EV adoption.

As the European EV market continues to boom, our alliance establishes a compelling example for merging modern charging software with deep renewable expertise – paving the route for a cleaner, smarter mobility era.
