At the 2024 TopGear.com Awards, which took place at London’s White City House, the Kia EV3 was named “Crossover of the Year.”
Combining outstanding room and functionality with small crossover dimensions, the EV3 maintains Kia’s stellar performance at the yearly awards. It comes after its bigger brothers, the EV9, which took up the 2023 Family Car of the Year award, and the EV6, which took home the 2021 Crossover of the Year award. In 2022, Kia also won the title of “Manufacturer of the Year.”
“In a world that is becoming more and more saturated with mid-size electric crossovers, the EV3 stands out with a design that stays just on the edge of radical, a roomy and luxurious interior, and the kind of range figures that erode the argument for not going EV,” said Jack Rix, Editor-in-Chief of TopGear Magazine. It continues Kia’s incredible streak of success and builds on the genius of the EV9 and EV6.
According to Marc Hedrich, President and CEO of Kia Europe, “the EV3 is everything you could possibly want in an electric vehicle: Versatile, spacious, and efficient, and it is ready to become a popular choice for the main car of the household.” Continuous recognition throughout Europe, including from the esteemed TopGear.com Awards, demonstrates that the industry recognizes the exceptional vehicle the EV3 is—especially without the price tag.”
In Kia’s “Plan S” plan, which intends to introduce 15 electric vehicles worldwide by 2027, the EV3 is a significant turning point.
