Kazam, one of India’s fastest-growing EV charging and energy-tech companies, has achieved a major milestone by installing over 1 lakh electric vehicle (EV) chargers across the country. This milestone marks a pivotal step in India’s journey toward achieving 30% EV penetration by 2030, strengthening the nation’s clean mobility and sustainable energy ecosystem.

      Expanding Nationwide Footprint

Operating across 3,900 pin codes, Kazam has built one of the most widespread EV charging networks in India. Its expansive deployment ensures reliable and accessible charging infrastructure across both urban and semi-urban regions—key to enabling widespread EV adoption. By providing hardware-agnostic and interoperable charging solutions, Kazam empowers users with the flexibility to charge any EV brand or model, significantly reducing range anxiety and improving charging convenience.

      Strategic Collaborations with Leading OEMs

A significant share of Kazam’s charger installations stems from its strong partnerships with India’s leading automotive manufacturers, including Mahindra and Bajaj. Through these collaborations, Kazam supports OEM-led EV ecosystems while also growing its independent public charging network. This dual approach ensures that both individual EV owners and fleet operators can benefit from reliable, tech-enabled charging options.

      Driving Clean Energy and Innovation

Kazam’s impact extends beyond just charging infrastructure. The company has already delivered over 45 GWh of clean energy through its network, contributing directly to carbon emission reduction and sustainability goals. Furthermore, Kazam is actively exploring innovations such as integrating battery energy storage and peer-to-peer energy trading pilots, aimed at enhancing energy efficiency and grid resilience.

Its technology-first approach ensures interoperability across residential, commercial, and fleet charging segments, supporting India’s growing EV ecosystem with scalable, software-driven solutions.

Leadership Vision: A Sustainable Future for All

Commenting on the milestone, Mr. Akshay Shekhar, CEO of Kazam, said:

“Crossing 1 lakh installations is a proud moment for us at Kazam. We are building the backbone of India’s clean mobility future. Our collaborations with Mahindra and Bajaj, and our presence across nearly 4,000 pin codes, highlight our mission to make EV charging as universal and reliable as the electricity grid itself. This achievement reaffirms our commitment to accelerating India’s journey toward net-zero emissions while shaping a sustainable energy ecosystem for generations to come.”

      Accelerating India’s EV Mission

As India moves toward its 2030 goal of 30% electric vehicle adoption, accessible and dependable charging infrastructure remains one of the most critical enablers. Kazam’s rapid expansion supports the government’s EV vision and reinforces India’s position as a global leader in the clean mobility revolution.

With its hardware-agnostic technology, widespread accessibility, and forward-looking partnerships, Kazam stands at the forefront of transforming how India charges, drives, and powers its future.
