Ionage, an EV charging aggregator network based in Bengaluru, has made public its grand development goals. By CY2028, the company hopes to have over 100,000 EV chargers nationwide on its platform. The company hopes to quickly increase the number of EV charging stations it already has integrated into its mobile application, which is now approximately 3,000 nationally.

According to the corporation, it has big plans to incorporate a network of more than 100,000 EV chargers onto its roaming service. By CY2028, this programme hopes to enable more than 10,000 small and medium-sized enterprises (SMBs) to enter the EV charging market. In an effort to improve EV owners’ experiences, the business recently unveiled India’s first digital platform for solar-powered EV charging, which allows EVs to be charged using solar credits whenever and wherever they choose.

“Our mission is to democratise the EV charging ecosystem and accelerate the adoption of EVs throughout India. Our solutions are purposefully made to link and unify the fragmented EV charging infrastructure that exists today, opening the door for an easy-to-use network. With the intention of removing obstacles and improving the whole EV ownership experience, we are committed to resolving and lowering the current frictions in the EV charging market and contributing to the development of electric mobility in India.” states Vimal Kumar V, CEO of Ionage.

Ionage’s roaming platform claims to give EV owners a comprehensive charging solution by facilitating seamless charging experiences across a range of networks and touchpoints, including public transport, businesses, residential areas, and highways. For the firm, there are now 3,000 entries.

Ionage is still focused on integrating the EV sector through strategic partnerships, thanks to its strong network of partners that includes well-known oil marketing companies, MG Motor India, Goego Network, Mobilane, and Verdemobility, among other well-known EV manufacturers in the nation. Over 70,000 users have been successfully onboarded by the platform, with roughly 15,000 Monthly Active Users (MAUs).
