India is set to host one of its most pivotal energy sector gatherings, Bharat Electricity, POWERGEN India & Indian Utility Week 2025, from September 2–4 at Yashobhoomi, IICC, Dwarka, New Delhi. Positioned as the nation’s premier convergence platform for the power and utilities sector, the event will underscore India’s aggressive push towards clean energy, digital transformation, and climate resilience.
With an ambitious national roadmap targeting 500 GW of non-fossil fuel capacity by 2030 and net-zero emissions by 2070, this high-impact event will serve as a catalyst in aligning policy, technology, and global investment to meet India’s energy goals.
Under the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India has launched key policy initiatives such as the National Green Hydrogen Mission, the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS), and the Electricity (Amendment) Bill, alongside funding mechanisms for energy storage and innovation.
The 2025 edition will bring together:
-
10,000+ stakeholders from government, industry, and global markets
-
120+ top policymakers and regulators across leadership dialogues
-
250+ technology exhibitors covering clean energy, hydrogen, storage, and digital grids
-
12,500 square meters of live technology demonstrations
The event will feature deep-dive sessions into the 2047 Energy Outlook, nuclear energy, renewable integration, grid flexibility, and international collaborations. High-level forums will also explore market reforms and consumer-centric energy models.
Commenting on the occasion, Mr Abhishek Bhatnagar, Director General of ENCIS (Energy & Climate Initiatives Society), stated:
“Energy today defines not just growth, but sovereignty, sustainability, and social equity. This event is where ideas translate to action and India’s vision of a green, inclusive, and globally competitive energy future is realized.”
Part of the world’s largest energy event series, the gathering aims to move beyond discussions and enable real-world partnerships—spanning cross-border tech collaboration, clean energy investment, and policy-industry synergy.
As India continues to position itself as a global green energy leader, Bharat Electricity, POWERGEN India & Indian Utility Week 2025 is expected to serve as a landmark moment in the nation’s clean energy journey.
