Hero MotoCorp is ready to expand its electric two-wheeler range under the Vida brand. The company is all set to launch a new family electric scooter called Vida VX2 on July 1, 2025. Ahead of the official debut, Hero has released a teaser online, giving a sneak peek into the scooter’s design and style.

      What We Know So Far

From the teaser and leaked details, the Vida VX2 seems to bring a fresh design, slightly different from the existing Vida V2 models. While the styling appears new, the underlying platform is expected to stay the same, ensuring reliable build quality that the Vida line is known for.

      Spotted Ahead of Launch

Just weeks before the official launch, the VX2 was seen undisguised at a Hero dealership. The images, now circulating online, show the scooter with an edgy and modern design. This new look is likely aimed at attracting a wider range of customers, especially those looking for a practical yet stylish family electric scooter.

      Key Features

The VX2 is expected to offer:

      • A smaller TFT display that shows key vehicle information clearly.
      • A physical key slot for added convenience.
      • Decent legroom and ample under-seat storage.
      • A single-piece seat to ensure a comfortable ride for both the rider and the pillion.

These features suggest that Hero is focusing on comfort and practicality, making the VX2 a strong option for daily commuters and family riders.

      What Stays the Same?

While the design is new, many internal components are expected to be borrowed from the current V2 models. This includes the chassis, battery, motor, and key electronic systems, which means customers can count on tried-and-tested performance and reliability.

      Current Vida Line-Up

Hero’s Vida electric scooter range currently starts at ₹74,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Vida V2 Lite, with a 2.2kWh battery, is priced at the entry level, while the Vida V2 Pro reaches up to ₹1.20 lakh. The upcoming VX2 will likely be positioned as a mid-range option, offering new styling with familiar performance.

      Final Thoughts

With the electric scooter market heating up in India, the launch of the Hero Vida VX2 is expected to boost the brand’s presence. The VX2 aims to offer a balance of style, comfort, and performance—perfect for families and urban riders alike. All eyes are now on July 1, when the full details will be officially revealed.
