iGowise Mobility and Hala Mobility, an EV-as-a-service platform, have partnered to install 2,000 fast electric trikes for last-mile delivery services in Bangalore and Hyderabad. Through specially designed, anti-topple electric vehicles made in India, the alliance seeks to eliminate inefficiencies in last-mile logistics.

As part of the deal, iGowise will provide its BeiGo electric pickup trikes, which are more stable and have a larger cargo capacity than conventional two-wheelers and autorickshaws. The vehicles will be used in a number of industries, such as rapid commerce, perishable commodities delivery, and e-commerce.

According to Sravan Kumar Appana, CEO and co-founder of iGowise Mobility, the company’s vehicles are designed to lower emissions while improving rider safety and comfort and saving money for logistical partners.

In an attempt to electrify India’s logistics industry, Hala Mobility just raised INR 51 crore and intends to deploy 10,000 electric cars by December 2025. In addition to offering integrated services like fleet analytics and battery swapping, the company sells electric vehicles for rent, lease, or subscription.

The collaboration coincides with India’s efforts to reach its 2030 goal of 80 million electric vehicles on the road. While the government continues to encourage greener transportation options through a number of incentive programs, the electric mobility sector has witnessed an increase in interest as companies look to cut operating costs and satisfy sustainability standards.
