      In order to improve last-mile transportation options for business-to-business fleets and ride-sharing services, Greaves Electric Mobility Limited (GEML) has formed a strategic alliance with Indofast Energy, a joint venture between Indian Oil and SUN Mobility.

      As a result of this partnership, both companies have introduced the Ampere “Magnus SW.S,” a cutting-edge electric scooter that incorporates battery-swapping technology from Indofast Energy. The Magnus SW.S, which was created especially for gig economy riders that travel more over 100 kilometers every day, provides a quick and easy way to replace batteries, cutting down on downtime and increasing operational effectiveness.

      Through the use of Indofast Energy’s quickly growing battery-swapping network, users may quickly swap out their empty batteries for fully charged ones, thus reducing operating expenses and increasing efficiency. This collaboration supports Indofast Energy’s objective of making battery swapping the standard method of EV charging in India and is consistent with Greaves’ vision of “Empowering Lives” and “Democratizing Smart and Sustainable Mobility.”

      Designed to serve both gig workers and commercial users, the Ampere Magnus SW.S has the following features:

      • 2.4 kW motor power guarantees smooth operation even with big loads and steep grades.
      • 151 kg payload capacity-Perfect for delivery services and ride-sharing.
      • Connectivity made possible by IoT improves fleet management options for operators.
