On July 14, 2025, India’s electric vehicle (EV) and auto component stocks showed a mixed performance, with some major players posting solid gains, while others saw mild corrections due to market volatility and sector-specific trends.

Among the top performers, Ola Electric Mobility surged a massive 18.27%, closing at ₹47.07. This sharp rally comes amid strong investor optimism following reports of expanding production capacity and positive pre-orders for its upcoming mass-market electric motorcycle.

Bosch Ltd. also impressed the markets, gaining 3.62% to close at ₹37,845.00. The company’s continued push into smart EV components and recent R&D announcements around vehicle electrification likely contributed to the positive sentiment.

HEG gained 5.15%, closing at ₹531.45, reflecting momentum in the advanced materials and EV battery component space.

Minda Corporation and Sona Comstar posted gains of 2.60% and 1.15% respectively, supported by strong earnings outlooks and component demand from domestic and export EV markets.

On the downside, HBL Engineering fell 1.88%, while Tata Motors dropped 1.08%, possibly due to mild profit booking after earlier gains. Olectra Greentech, known for electric buses, also declined 1.22%, despite long-term fundamentals remaining strong.

Other gainers included Amara Raja Energy & Mobility (+0.90%), Greaves Cotton (+0.86%), Exicom Tele-Systems (+0.64%), and Hero MotoCorp (+0.79%).

Overall, the EV and auto components sector remains in focus amid rising sales, supportive policies, and new product launches. However, investors are watching global cues, interest rate movements, and corporate earnings closely to assess future trends.

The mixed movement shows the sector’s diversification, with tech-focused and battery-related stocks attracting higher attention in the current market cycle.
