Indian electric vehicle (EV) and auto components stocks ended the day mixed as selective buying among investors was offset by light profit taking on November 7, 2025. Caution in the broader market continued on the basis of global uncertainties and domestic earnings updates.

Among the gainers, Sona Comstar led the gainers with a gain of ₹491.10, up 1.70%, due to positivity around its EV drivetrain and next generation precision components business. Exicom Tele-Systems Ltd. rose 1.58% to ₹135.05, extending its run when recent momentum emerged in the battery management and charging solutions market. Bharat Electronics gained 1.34% to ₹414.25 on the back of strong defense and electronics orders while Minda Corporation added 1.03% to finish at ₹579.20. Greaves Cotton gained modestly with a 0.33% gain to ₹203.77, reinforcing confidence from investors on its growing EV product line.

On the downside, Ola Electric Mobility Ltd. recorded the steepest fall of the day, slipping 2.15% to ₹46.55 after witnessing profit booking from earlier gains. HEG declined 1.29% to ₹549.50, followed by Amara Raja Energy & Mobility, which dropped 0.92% to ₹980.10 amid a flat battery segment performance. JBM Auto and Bosch were also down by 0.89% and 0.57%, respectively.

Other important movers were Tata Motors (down 0.53% to ₹405.70), Exide Industries (down 0.66%), and Olectra Greentech (down 0.64%).

Overall, the sector displayed a cautious tone, as investors rotated through high-earning auto players and new-age EV stocks. The analysts have noted that this mixed trend reflects that consolidation in the EV and component space is progressing, while the markets await fresh growth triggers from policies and global market dynamics.
