On November 4, 2025, Indian EVs and auto component stocks had a mixed trading session due to investors executing some profit booking, but to a lesser extent buying selectively through the mobility space. The market was cautious as investors were still thinking about global uncertainties, particularly with some continuing to unwind their domestic fund flows.

The noteworthy gainers included Bosch, advancing 2.23% to ₹37,850.00, being the top performer of the day on continued expectations and optimism for their EV systems and key component innovations. Uniparts India increased 1.78% to ₹507.25, while in previous rounds of favourable trading along with ongoing strong interest in their EV drivetrain technologies, Sona Comstar improved 0.53% to ₹483.8. Minda Corporation increased 0.44% to ₹591.40, while Olectra Greentech also made a small increase of 0.37% to ₹1,518.90, with some positive traction seen in the electric bus segment. Greaves Cotton remained up, as it added 0.50% to ₹220.92, on strong expectations for their growing business for electric two- and three-wheelers.

Nonetheless, there were significant declines in a number of prominent names. Hero MotoCorp experienced the highest decline of 4.16% to ₹5,309.00, indicating that some investors were acting cautiously after setting new recent highs. In context, Tata Motors lost 2.52% to ₹406.5 as part of a mild profit booking action. Amara Raja Energy & Mobility fell 1.99% to ₹990.10, while Bharat Electronics and Bharat Forge declined 1.70% and 1.18%, respectively. Ola Electric Mobility Ltd. slipped 2.08% to ₹50.06, following subdued trading interest ahead of key business updates.

In general, the EV and automotive parts industry expressed a steady outlook, with little strength from some of the parts manufacturers and EV infrastructure segment. Analysts expect consolidation in the short run but are still optimistic in the long run concerning electrification and growth of domestic manufacturing overall.
