The Indian stock market saw a major decline on August 6, 2025 hitting the EV and auto parts sectors hardest and creating uncertainty for investors. Companies producing EV components and batteries experienced significant drops in their stock prices, with the downward trend continuing.

And there was also a decline of 2.09% for Exicom Tele-Systems Ltd., one of the important players in EV charging infrastructure, at ₹146.88.

Other important stocks finished the day lower, including Greaves Cotton (down 1.79%), Bharat Forge (down 1.82%), Olectra Greentech (down 2.60%)., these stocks declining are reflective of short-term hesitation, global cues, and input cost concern for EV manufacturers and services.
