Eicher Trucks and Buses has delivered six Eicher Skyline PRO E 9M Staff AC Electric Buses to the Indian Army.

These deliveries support the Indian Army’s transformative initiative to deploy environment friendly and sustainable transportation for staff and troop movement.

Vinod Aggarwal, Managing Director and CEO of VECV said, “We are honoured to collaborate with the Indian Army by providing sustainable and eco-friendly transportation. This exemplifies Eicher’s commitment to sustainability and we look forward to actively supporting the Indian Army’s transformative vision for sustainable and green mobility.”

Eicher Skyline PRO E 9M Staff AC Electric Buses are an example of the Make in India programme, having been developed and produced using Eicher’s well-established electric vehicle technology. The completely air-conditioned bus includes all air suspension, which improves comfort, safety, and the passenger and driver experience, according to the news announcement.

To provide a best-in-class aftermarket experience, all Eicher cars are linked via the revolutionary Uptime Centre, which employs AI/ML capabilities for remote diagnostics and predictive diagnosis.
