      eHUB App Hits 15,000 Downloads, Expands EV Charging

      Since its release on August 6, 2024, the eHUB by MG app has been downloaded over 15,000 times, according to MG Motor India. 80% of India’s fast charging network is currently covered by the app, which was created to provide charging options for electric vehicles. It currently works with 28 charging partners.

      With around 17 million green kilometers and 30,000 booked journeys, the eHUB by MG app has received ratings of 4.6 on the Play Store and 4.3 on the App Store. With the help of the app, customers can find and reserve EV chargers, initiate the charging process, and make payments on a centralized platform. This functionality removes the need for different wallets and apps, simplifying the charging process.

      In addition, owners of the recently unveiled MG Windsor—dubbed India’s first Intelligent Crossover Utility Vehicle—will be eligible for complimentary charging for a full year when they utilize the eHUB by MG app. Through programmes like this app, MG Motor India hopes to facilitate the uptake of electric vehicles by making EV ownership easier for customers.

      The goal of JSW MG Motor India is to assist the expansion of electric mobility in India through a partnership between MG Motor and JSW Group. Through collaboration on projects including car manufacture, technological integration, and the development of charging infrastructure, this alliance contributes to the increasing use of electric vehicles (EVs).
