With the successful completion of its Series A investment round, Clean Electric has raised INR 48.5 crore ($6 million). Kalaari Capital, Info Edge Ventures, and pi Ventures co-led the round, with additional backing from Lok Capital and other key investors.
The money will support Clean Electric’s efforts to address major issues facing the electric vehicle (EV) market, such as improving safety regulations, cutting down on charging times, and increasing battery range.
A specially designed battery management system powers the company’s cutting-edge innovations, which include integrated cell-to-pack (CTP) architecture, Direct Contact Liquid Cooling (DCLC) thermal management, and exclusive dynamic charging algorithms.
“We are excited about the future and look forward to sharing record-breaking updates soon,” said Clean Electric, expressing gratitude to its shareholders, including Climate Angels, LetsVenture, 7Square Ventures, IIMA Ventures, Sarcha Advisors, iCreate, Saurabh Chandra, Upendra Deglurkar, and Nagbhushan Gubbi, for their ongoing support.
