India’s EV tech platform Chargeup has joined forces with Eleven Group to introduce a ₹50 crore integrated EV financing and health inclusion programme for last-mile drivers. The initiative, branded as Green Clean Loans, aims to empower 10,000 drivers by providing access to credit, insurance, and digital solutions, tackling key barriers to EV adoption and driver welfare.
Integrated Financing and Health Support
This first-of-its-kind programme combines EV loans, insurance coverage, and digital enablement under one seamless platform:
-
SV Credit Line (SVCL) delivers dedicated EV loans, helping drivers overcome high upfront ownership costs.
-
aiqa Health provides insurance and healthcare benefits, including a daily hardship allowance to compensate for lost income during hospitalisation.
-
Finncub manages the digital workflow, streamlining loan origination, disbursement, and performance assurance.
Chargeup’s technology platform powers the programme, ensuring a smooth, data-driven experience for last-mile drivers while maximising uptime and operational efficiency.
Driving Livelihoods and Sustainable Mobility
The initiative is designed to address two critical challenges faced by gig and last-mile workers: financial accessibility to EVs and limited healthcare support. By integrating mobility, finance, and wellness, the programme ensures drivers remain financially and medically secure while contributing to India’s growing EV ecosystem.
Leadership Perspectives
Varun Goenka, Founder & CEO, Chargeup, said:
“Our mission is to democratise EV ownership for last-mile drivers and maximise their earning potential. Green Clean Loans ensures drivers not only access sustainable mobility but are also protected against unforeseen financial and health shocks.”
Karan Chopra, Eleven Group, added:
“Through our ecosystem of SVCL, AIQA Health, and Finncub, we bridge the gap between credit, healthcare, and technology, empowering grassroots communities to pursue sustainable livelihoods with confidence and dignity.”
Expanding Impact
Chargeup has already enabled over 8,000 drivers to adopt EVs and facilitated ₹8.64 crore in disbursements via earlier NBFC partnerships. With the Green Clean Loans initiative, the platform is set to scale its impact, offering an integrated solution that combines mobility, financial inclusion, and essential wellness support for India’s last-mile workforce.
