The country’s supercharging station count will rise dramatically, according to plans announced by CHARGE ZONE. As part of a deliberate effort to improve its infrastructure, the firm plans to open 25 additional stations this fiscal year. In the long run, it hopes to open 500 stations that can produce power outputs ranging from 360KW to 1.2MW.

This expansion highlights CHARGE ZONE’s dedication to assisting India’s expanding electric vehicle (EV) sector and provides a six-fold increase in charging capacity over current fast-charging models.

Kartikey Hariyani, Founder and CEO of CHARGE ZONE, highlighted the success of the company’s pilot rollout which showed substantial utilization by inter-city electric cars and buses. “The supercharging stations, operational for six months, have been met with excellent customer feedback, showcasing remarkable efficiency with an average charging time of 15 to 20 minutes,” said Hariyani.

The expansion will cover major routes including Bangalore-Chennai and Mumbai-Ahmedabad, aligning with the company’s vision to transform national highways into renewable corridors. CHARGE ZONE’s stations will use solar power and battery storage to ensure sustainable operations.

“Our network expansion is a key step toward realising a sustainable transportation ecosystem, and we are dedicated to advancing the adoption of electric buses, trucks, and personal vehicles across India,” added Hariyani
