      Chinese EV Firm Inaugurates New EV Showroom in Lucknow

      Chinese EV firm, BYD has launched its 15th EV showroom in India and it’s first in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

      The showroom was inaugurated by Rajesh Narain, Chairman of Speed Group, and Sanjay Gopalakrishnan, Senior Vice President of the Electric Passenger Vehicle Business, BYD India, in the presence of senior officials of both companies.

      The Speed BYD showroom is in Plot No. 655 Tiwari Ganj Faizabad Road, Uttardhauna, Chinhat, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh 227105.

      SPEED BYD will provide access to BYD’s pure electric vehicles with high-quality services for its consumers in Uttar Pradesh.

      Spread across 8000 square feet with a state-of-the-art 3S facility (Sales, Spares & Services), the showroom has well-trained technicians, service equipment, service bays, a customer lounge, and a showroom display floor, offering customers the best in-store experience.

      Sanjay Gopalakrishnan, Senior Vice President of Electric Passenger Vehicle Business, BYD India, said, “We are delighted to announce the inauguration of the first passenger car dealership in Lucknow with SPEED Group, which will help us penetrate deeper into the Lucknow market. We are currently developing our dealership network across the nation. The state has immense potential to become a hub of auto and electric vehicle industries, with both primary and spare equipment manufacturing units. We are positive that this dealership will establish a new standard in the area.”

      Rajesh Narain, Chairman of Speed Group, said, “Speed group is very proud to partner with BYD in the state of Uttar Pradesh. We will deliver the highest level of sales and service standards to our valuable customers. Our partners are the no.1 player in the global electric mobility market, and this partnership will help us create a whole new electric pathway in India’s future.”

      BYD is planning to open 24 showrooms across 21 cities in India by the end of this year and aims to expand to at least 53 showrooms by the end of 2023.

      The company will also participate in the Auto Expo 2023 and debut more products and technologies for the Indian market.
