Bounce Infinity and SUN Mobility have joined forces to execute the largest-ever electric vehicle (EV) deployment in India.
The collaboration involves the deployment of 30,000 Bounce Infinity Scooters in major markets, starting with Bangalore and Hyderabad and expanding to Mumbai, Pune, and Delhi NCR.
SUN Mobility will operate these scooters under both the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) and Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) models, utilizing its extensive battery-swapping network across the country.
Bounce Infinity’s electric scooters, integrated with SUN Mobility’s swappable battery system, offer a remarkable range of over 95 km per swap.
The collaboration aims to introduce this solution in export markets as well.
Vivekananda Hallekere, CEO of Bounce Infinity, emphasized the significance of the collaboration in revolutionizing urban mobility in the thriving Indian electric two-wheeler market. He highlighted the mission to make clean commuting accessible and affordable by eliminating charging hassles through instant battery swaps.
Anant Badjatya, CEO of SUN Mobility, expressed excitement about the groundbreaking collaboration, stating that it not only powers electric two-wheelers but also sparks a revolution in urban mobility. By integrating Bounce Infinity’s innovative scooters into SUN Mobility’s extensive battery-swapping network, the partnership aims to redefine EV adoption, not only in India but on a global scale.
